Low-cost
Article Publicity With High-Impact
So you are at a place where a change has
got to happen and planning a home business is in the mix; well I got the same
idea more than sixteen yeas ago and would not trade the experience for
anything.
In the beginning I had to learn that my main goal in building my online
business had to be how I can make a profit by the way I drive traffic online. I
was extremely green back then. I didn't know which way was up or how to get
there soon.
It was nip and tuck at first, but just like learning to tie shoelaces. From
time to time we made mistakes but never gave up, and over time we became skilled
and expert at tying shoes.
When I finally got a business coach, driving traffic became much easier because
they began showing me how maximizing web traffic to maximize online
profits.
They also began introducing me to internet traffic secrets like pre-qualified
lead generation, funded proposals, article publicity and niche article
directories to name a few.
The one topic and skill that had a profound and lasting effect on my business
was niche article directories.
The best thing was that using them was a skill I already had, so all I
had to do was to learn the processes and practice practice practice.
Niche article directories are the web traffic secrets to maximizing web traffic
in your online home business. What that should mean to you would be getting a
pre-qualified lead (and lots of them). As it turns out, niche article directories
are lead banks. When you submit your articles to them you are getting free
publicity for your business.
Let me explain. These directories have many categories (from a-z) to submit
your articles to. At the end of all your articles you can add a resource box
(usually these boxes are 4 lines) advertising your business.
As long as you abide by their submission guidelines, you can submit till your
heart's content or you get writers cramps like me. The best part is that
submitting your articles are totally free; and directories are the best-hidden
Internet traffic secrets bar none. All of the traffic generated is highly targeted.
It's like fishing in a barrel.
So why are you still reading, start writing. My bad... I haven't told you about
the article writing process and writing your article. I can hear you saying,
"But I don't know how to write." It is not major brain surgery you
can do this. I will walk you through the process.
The title of your article for submission to niche article directories are
widely divided into three categories:
1. Tips / Ways ("7 Ways To Drive
Traffic To Your Website")
2. 2. Step-By-Step Tutorial ("How To Fish Without A Fishing Pole in 3 Easy
Steps")
3. 3. Resources ("The Best Comedians of the 20th Century")
Determining your intriguing title use one of the following four title generator
tips:
Question: --- choosing a question for the title of your article, you involve
your reader in your article. Interaction is a key to successful article
writing. You need your reader to WANT to read on. Curiosity is a
powerful tool that can be harnessed with a question title. Example:
"Why are You Chasing Your Prospects? How to be the hunted not the
hunter."
Statement: --- You will want to do two things: First, use specifics (I.E.
74%, 7 out of 10, $599.99) and introduce a problem.
Then, you quickly hint at a solution. Example: "55% of Small Businesses
Fail Within The First 5 Years of Starting Business Due to Funding Issues"
Experience: --- Sharing specific statistics from your own experience. The
one thing that folks want more than anything else is results. Sharing
what you have personally achieved is a perfect way to use an ezine title.
(You explain HOW you achieved the title in the article itself) Example:
"How I Generate Gobs of Targeted Prospects Daily Using A Funded
Proposal"
Overview: --- You provide a description that outlines what you are going to
share in the article. Examples: "How Niche Article Directories
Dramatically Lowers your advertising Expenses", "How to Plant a
garden in winter in 5 Easy Steps", "3 Free Resources for Building
Your Dream Home Business."
Your original opening sentence should state the problem that you solve with
your article?
1) What is your first point?(This can be a "way", "tip",
"resource" or "step") Examples: "Step One:
Generate the Idea", "Tip #1 -- Niche Article Directories Low-cost
advertising With High-Impact", or
"Resource #1...My Lead Generation System"
Briefly describe the point in greater detail
Explain your point in simple details. Use short, easy-to-follow sentences.
Use the words "you" and "your" to focus on the
reader. Write as if you were sharing with a specific person in
mind. Feel free to use more than one paragraph -- just make sure you
clearly explain the point as quickly as you can.
2) Second point...
Briefly summarize / Create a conclusion
Stress the ultimate benefit to the reader when they follow your ideas.
What results can they expect? This is a great place to stress your
personal experience -- what happened when you did it? Share some specific
statistics...prove your point...use research. And convey the thought
"You can do it too!" so the reader feels that the article applies to
them. Which is the point, after all.
Finalize the article with a lingering closing
Finish your articles with a motivational statement. Ask a question. Encourage
a response. Present a call to action. Give them some task to do,
even if it's as simple as "Now put this into practice and you can see
similar results."
